2024.10.14 10:25 News

This time, we highlight Odsuren's Terbold, a student who won a silver medal in the 2023 "Master Weightlifting World Youth Championship" while still a student.
He is in the 4th year of the Teacher and Physical Education Program of the School of Physical Education of MUBIS. He was awarded the "Rector's Scholarship of MUBIS" at the opening ceremony of the 2023-2024 school year and is a representative of our proud students.
The son of a rancher's father, he is talented in all aspects of sports, which can be noticed in old interviews, as well as his incredible strength and talent, which can be clearly seen from his achievements in sports in the past. for example, in the sport of weightlifting (powerlifting): in 2023, he won a silver medal at the Youth World Cup, a gold and a silver medal at the Youth World Championship, and a gold and bronze medal at the 2024 Youth World Championship.
In this sport, he has 4 silver medals of the youth sports competition, and he is a talented athlete who is a 5-time defending champion of Ovorkhangai province. The water washed from the place where O. Turbold fell is the famous home tree of Vorkhangai province. He started his sports career as a national wrestler in elementary school (3rd grade) and his first prize was a silver medal at the school championship. Then, in the 9th grade, he won the wrestling match at the neighboring Tara Sum festival, which undoubtedly became one of the best memories of his school years.
Since then, Batjargal has been practicing judo, freestyle, and sambo wrestling since he was 10 years old under the guidance of his teacher. He won a bronze medal at the 2023 Student Championship in ju-jitsu, which was created and developed by Dr. O. Bold-Erden, a student and teacher of the Physical Education School, and he also won a bronze medal at the Judo Student Championship.
In addition, he won a silver medal at the MSU student wall climbing championship. It is commendable that he has been duly recognized and rewarded for his efforts, talent and merits dedicated to his sport. Among them: Överkhangai region was selected as the best young man of the year at the 2023 "Golden Rose" Festival, and was awarded with a gold medal by the Mongolian National Olympic Committee. He said that he is grateful to the secretary of the sports committee of his province, Mr. Amasulud, senior professor of MUBIS, J. Baasandamba, Dr. Sh. Enkhburen, Dr. Choijiljav, and other scholars who support and help him in the sport of weightlifting.
During this time, I briefly inquired about the beautiful place where he was born. Our people will not forget that Uyanga sum of Uvorkhangai is famous for its eight lakes, which are the birthplace of the famous good lord Namnansuren. For me, it was very interesting to know the eight names of the Eight Lakes. let's name it:
- Table lake
- Haliut Lake
- Lake Bugat
- Sometimes lake
- Lake Khuis
- Muhar Lake
- Pedal lake
- Bayan Uul, 8 lakes of fresh water and natural beauty of Mongolia, are located in the area of Yuanga Sum. Thus, O.Turbold, an athlete student who was born with the natural beauty of the land, has noticed that he is secretly interested in the sport of judo, but he has not yet chosen a club or coach to practice with. The future Olympic medalist from Mubi's BTS, where many famous people of the world are born, is sitting humbly like this.
So, O. Turbold, the best student of MUBIS in 2023, winner of the principal's award, silver medalist of the world championship, strengthened his success again this year and won his second silver medal at the 2024 World Powerlifting World Cup. , making Mongolians happy. In addition to qualifying for the silver medal at the 2024 World Championships in Austin, USA, he has set a new weight record. Congratulations again to our student O. Turbold.
