As part of its international cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding, a delegation from the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE) visited Tokyo Gakugei University, Nagoya University, and Nagoya University of Economics in Japan from October 31 to November 5, 2025.
During the official meetings, institutional leaders including Dean Taka Giro of the School of Education and Human Development at Nagoya University, Principal Shibata Yoshiaki of Nagoya University’s affiliated secondary school, Director L. Munkhtuya of MNUE’s Administrative and Human Resources Department, and President Saburi Haruo of Nagoya University of Economics presented overviews of their respective institutions. The parties discussed expanding the scope of existing agreements and improving the accessibility and impact of joint programs and projects.
In line with Japan’s growing emphasis on “Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Education,” MNUE faculty attended lectures by Professor Mamoki Kimura of Tokyo Gakugei University and Assistant Professor Yu Zhu of Nagoya University’s Center for AI, Mathematics, and Data Science. These sessions sparked active discussions and valuable exchanges of experience.
The MNUE delegation also visited educational museums, academic affairs offices, student development centers, libraries, independent learning spaces, and digital course production facilities. The universities agreed to organize online grand seminars and explore opportunities for joint research and collaborative projects in the near future.
Furthermore, researchers from both sides committed to presenting their findings on AI in education at MNUE’s upcoming international academic conference titled
“QUALITY ADVANCEMENT AND THE HUMANIZATION OF EDUCATION: INNOVATIVE LEARNING AND TEACHING IN THE DIGITAL ERA (QAHE 2026).”
