Under the cooperation agreement between the Mongolian National University of Education and Herzen University of Russia, from September 22 to November 14, 2025, Dr. Professor Elena Demikhovskaya and Senior Lecturer Konstantin Demikhovsky from the School of Foreign Languages worked as visiting professors at the Department of Russian Language of the School of the Humanities and Social Sciences. In addition to teaching courses that develop speaking, writing, and reading skills in Russian for first- to third-year students majoring in Russian language teaching, they organized a comprehensive program entitled “Russian Language Days” from October 27 to November 14, 2025, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the “Tradition” Foundation. As part of this program, they conducted an interactive master class on the topic “Learning Language and Culture through Video Clips,” which introduced students to the city of Saint Petersburg, its history, and cultural landmarks. This not only enhanced students’ Russian speaking skills but also provided an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Russian culture through video materials. Students also attended a lecture entitled “Truths and Myths about Russia and the Russian People,” which gave them foundational knowledge of Russia’s geography, history, and culture, as well as intercultural communication. Furthermore, during master classes on “Russian Dolls” and “The Russian Alphabet,” students became more deeply acquainted with the traditions and customs of the Russian people.
