The Confucius Institute of the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE), in cooperation with the Center for Language Education and Cooperation under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and Northeast Normal University, organized the “International Certificate Training for Chinese Language Teachers of Mongolia” from January 6–8, 2025, in both in-person and online formats.
The training was conducted by Liu Tao and Wang Yu, directors from Northeast Normal University, and was attended by about 70 Chinese language teachers from 20 schools in Ulaanbaatar and rural areas.
Certificates were awarded to all participants by G. Tsogzolmaa, Head of the Foreign Relations Office of MNUE; Zhang Dai Sheng, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute; and Liu Tao and Wang Yu, directors of the Teacher Training School of Northeast Normal University.
A highlight of the program was the Chinese language teachers’ skills competition, where outstanding teachers were recognized for their teaching methodology and skills, receiving certificates of merit and trophies.
This marked the 7th successful and fruitful training program for Chinese language teacher certification, which participants emphasized as highly beneficial, expressing gratitude to the visiting teachers from China.
