In honor of the 78th anniversary of Kyonggi University (Republic of Korea), a joint art exhibition was organized.
Since the beginning of their partnership in 2023, the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE) and Kyonggi University have actively collaborated in various areas, including faculty and student exchange, joint academic programs, collaborative art exhibitions, and field research initiatives. Notably, during this period, the Department of Fine Arts has successfully held joint exhibitions featuring faculty artists twice in Korea and twice in Mongolia, along with two rounds of field-based creative research in Mongolia. The two institutions have also launched a 1+1 Master’s program and initiated joint doctoral scholarship programs.
During the recent visit, the following events took place:
- In recognition of his valuable contribution to the partnership, Mr. Jong Shin Won, Director of the Kyonggi University Museum, was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor by MNUE.
- Representatives attended the opening of the third joint exhibition dedicated to Kyonggi University’s 78th anniversary, showcasing over 60 artworks by faculty artists from both universities.
- At the official anniversary ceremony, President Batbaatar J. delivered congratulatory remarks on behalf of Mongolia, highlighting the achievements of the partnership and expressing support for future collaboration.
