The second phase of the “Breaking Language Barriers: Reaching Remote and Disadvantaged Communities through English Teaching” project has reached Arkhangai, Khuvsgul, Khentii, Dundgovi, and Bulgan provinces.
Implemented jointly by the Ministry of Education, the British Embassy Ulaanbaatar, and UNICEF Mongolia, the second phase supported more than 450 English language teachers to strengthen their language proficiency and gain effective methods for teaching young learners. As a result, over 20,000 primary school students now have greater opportunities to learn English and reach their full potential.
NCTD extends its appreciation to all the partners and to the teacher from the Department of English and German Languages of MNUE, the Department of English Language of MNUE, the Department of British and American Studies of the National University of Mongolia (NUM), and the Foreign Language Center of NUM for co-organizing the training.
