The 120-hour blended (online and in-person) Phase II training of the project "Breaking Language Barriers: Reaching Remote and Disadvantaged Communities through English Teaching" jointly implemented by the Ministry of Education of Mongolia, UNICEF, and the National Center for Teacher Development Support (NCTD) under MNUE, with funding from the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, was conducted from January 5 to February 13, 2026. A total of 456 teachers from Arkhangai, Bulgan, Dundgovi, Khuvsgul, and Khentii provinces successfully completed the training and received their certificates.

The top 20 teachers selected from the above five provinces participated in a 60-hour blended mentor teacher training, held from March 23 to March 27, 2026. These 20 mentor teachers will return to their home provinces to disseminate their knowledge and organize training sessions and activities for local English language teachers.

On behalf of the organizing institutions, we extend our sincere appreciation to the 20 teachers who participated in the mentor teacher training with great dedication and enthusiasm, as well as to the trainers who successfully facilitated the program.
