About Us:

The Student Union at MNUE, established in 1998, is an autonomous body that serves as the bridge between students, preserving their rights and interests. Initially formed under the Mongolian Student Union, we have since evolved into an independent entity with distinctive symbols such as a seal, flag, anthem, identity card, official letterhead, and a prestigious award system approved by our board.

Our operations adhere to the MNUE Constitution, relevant MNUE regulations, the Law on NGOs, and other legislative mandates. As a student self-governance body, we consistently safeguard student interests while facilitating events for their holistic growth. Our official stature allows us to collaborate seamlessly with other formal institutions.

MNUE Student Union Control Office

Supervisory Board Overview:

The MNUE Board of Directors incorporates a Supervisory Board, composed of three members elected by the assembly. This self-appointed body supervises the Ministry of Education and Culture's endeavors. Tasked with monitoring the Ministry of Education's activities, they function within the set guidelines, adhering to Mongolian laws. To ensure impartiality, the Supervisory Board operates independently, free from influence by the Student Union's management, MNUE, or any other organization or individual. Members of this board are restricted from simultaneously holding any elected position within the Student Union.

Powers Entrusted to the Supervisory Board:

Oversee and assess the implementation of the Student Union's regulations.

Monitor and inspect the financial conduct and use of the Student Union's assets, reporting any findings to the Board of Directors.

Formulate and enforce its own operational procedures in line with these rules.

Responsibilities of the Supervisory Office:

Monthly examination of the Student Union's operational and financial reports, concluding the findings and presenting them to the Union Head.

Should any financial or operational issues arise, they will be addressed by the Board of Directors.

Represent the supervisory board during the assembly of the constituent school.

MNUE Constituent School Student Guild:

Representing the MNUE Student Union, the Guild at the constituent school (hereafter, "Guild") champions the collective interests and rights of its school's students. While the Guild can adopt its unique emblem, flag, ID card, sign, or printed form, they are obligated to consistently submit their activity plan, budget, and expenditure reports to the appropriate authority. This adherence ensures alignment with the fiscal year. Both the Education and Research Meeting of its school and the head of the Student Union must approve the Guild's annual work plan and budget breakdown. Furthermore, the Guild’s activities abide by the guidelines set forth by the MNUE Student Union's Board of Directors.
